What Makes Lizards and Snakes Ssssuperb Pets?

 

~Reptiles are excellent pets for those who live in a small apartment. Many smaller reptiles are suited to a 10 gallon aquarium.

 

~Snakes are hypoallergenic, there is no fur to aggravate allergies or create excess cleaning necessities around the house (Leetz, 30).

 

~Reptiles do not have some of the maintenance and attention requirements that dogs, cats, and other pets have, such as walks, grooming, and training (Leetz 30).

 

~Reptiles are not destructive to your carpet or furniture (Cooper 98).

 

~Snakes are quiet, unobtrusive pets (Cooper 97).

 

~Reptiles are exotic, unique and fascinating creatures to observe and enjoy in the home. Their instincts and behaviors exemplify the beauty and complexity of nature's wildlife.

 

~The final, and perhaps most simple reason for having a pet reptile, is that they are beautiful creatures to behold.
